Description:

Latil-Pernot´s musical automaton realized in France between 1977 and 1994 depicting a young girl and her mother drinking a cup of tea. This musical automaton is entitled "The snack" (Le goûter).

Movements of this musical automaton with porcelain limbs, glass eyes and antique lace: the two characters turn the head in both directions and move their arms in order to drink.

This musical automaton contains in its base a traditional swiss musical wind up mechanism from the Reuge company. Melodies of this musical automaton: Eine kleine Nachtmusik / Little night music in two parts (W. A. Mozart).
