Description of this musical automaton:

This musical automaton depicting a forest elf, contains a base in which it is possible to store jewelry or other small objects.

This musical automaton has three movements (the head and the two arms).

This musical automaton contains a 22-note traditional musical mechanism made in Switzerland by Cuendet.

For the story, "Azaghal" means "the King of darves under the Mountain", from the world of the trilogy The Lord of the Rings (J. R. R. Tolkien). The creators of this automaton collection (Elisabeth Fischbach and Francis Fraisse) tried to recreate a universe of fantasy with small people coming from an universe which has nothing comparable to the everyday life.
