Description of this musical automaton:
Porcelain musical automaton made in France in the second half of the 20th century by Michel Marcu.
This musical automaton has its original costume (satin shirt with lace and striped trousers). The automaton sits on a stool with golden legs, covered in red velvet, with a winding mechanism at the back.
The automaton has been restored: the movements have been adjusted, the mechanism has been overhauled, the limbs have been repainted and the head has been replaced.
Movements of the automaton: the head turns from right to left, bows and rises, the left arm moves up and down and sideways, and the right leg swings.
Music of the automaton: one tune of classical music.
